Cyber Essentials renewed for 2026 to 2027

DADA has successfully renewed its Cyber Essentials certification for the 2026 to 2027 period.

The certification applies to the whole organisation and confirms that DADA was assessed as meeting the requirements of the Cyber Essentials scheme at the time of certification.

Cyber Essentials is a UK cyber security assurance scheme focused on the technical controls organisations should have in place to protect against common cyber threats.

DADA regularly bids for and is awarded public sector contracts. Cyber Essentials therefore forms an important part of our supplier assurance and procurement readiness. UK Government procurement policy requires suppliers bidding for certain types of public contracts to hold Cyber Essentials or Cyber Essentials Plus certification, or demonstrate equivalent controls. This includes relevant procurements historically governed by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and procurements now operating under the Procurement Act 2023 framework.

For DADA, the certification supports the controls used across our internal ICT environment and delivery operations, including:

  1. Secure configuration of devices and network equipment
  2. Supported operating systems and firmware
  3. Security and vulnerability updates
  4. Firewall and internet boundary protection
  5. User and administrator access controls
  6. Multi factor authentication
  7. Malware protection
  8. Secure cloud services and remote working
  9. Software and asset management

The certification is relevant to DADA’s work with public sector, nuclear, infrastructure and regulated clients where cyber assurance and supplier due diligence are important parts of procurement and delivery governance.

DADA’s current certificate was issued on 6 October 2026 and is valid until 6 October 2027.
