DADA featured in Space East Cluster newsletter

Space East Cluster is funded by New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership and UK Space Agency.

The Space Enterprise Lab (SEL) is located in the heart of BT’s Adastral Park the SEL brings communities together in a collaborative and innovative way. Generous support for the SEL at Adastral Park come from the Satellite Applications Catapult,  Suffolk County Council, East Suffolk Council, BT, New Anglia LEP and Space East.

As a member of Space East, DADA was honoured to be featured in their Space East Cluster Newsletter on how they can achieve certainty over their project out-turn costs.

Aerospace, and space, cost estimating remains a blend of art and science, given that many variables drive mission costs, and that many space projects are one-of-a-kind R&D ventures. Historical data suffers from cloudiness, interdependencies, and small sample sizes.

A 2023 U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) report shows that…

NASA’s portfolio of major projects in development sustained $7.6 billion in cost overruns in 2023

Accurate estimation and control of costs poses a particular challenge, especially when developing something never achieved before. As a high degree of accuracy remains elusive, we showed how we can achieve certainty over their project out-turn costs by providing:
✅ Overview of Cost Estimating Methods
✅ Concept Maturity Levels (CMLs)
✅ Utilising Machine Learning (ML)
✅ Automated Delay Analysis & AI Generative Reporting
