Brett O’ Donnell

Following receiving Higher Diploma honours in Engineering from National University of Ireland, Brett has through his international experience with Main Contractors become well informed about Technical Specifications and methods of construction. His planning knowledge compliments his experience in preparation of quantity estimates, contract management, and cost control for infrastructure and housing projects. He is skilled in the preparation of cost reports and valuations; and can re-measure as necessary and adjust variations. He can analyse sub-contractor’s tenders and prepare tender reports at all stages of procurement.

Brett has 8 years’ international post-graduate experience in engineering and construction industry as a Project Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Contracts Administrator and Estimation Engineer.

Brett is skilled in communicating cost & schedule risk reports to a Project Controls Engineer contributing to recovery and improvement initiatives. He is experienced in the preparation of material forecast schedule for procurement, mobilisation of resources and the preparation of estimates and cost plans. Brett can assist in settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims. He is able prepare and agree Final Accounts and review subcontractors’ monthly interim payments and variation orders.
